He is a neighbour, and should have the same privacy as the rest of us, you don't have any god given right to listen in If the police said there was no problem then the nosey neighbour should have left it at that.
Exactly. "Concerned for the welfare of a female neighbour" my ****ing arse. Had it been anyone else other than the fact they knew it was Johnson and exploited the situation either for financial or political gain, it would have been ignored. I've heard loads of arguments between my own neighbours over the years - private arguments that you wouldn't bat an eyelid at other than the fact that this was Boris. Don't make me laugh at the "do gooder" slant that's been put on it.
Have you ever called the police because you're worried about their arguments potentially being violent?
Hear hear - happens up and down the country every day in private. Not a particularly savoury thing to read about someone in public service and aspiring to high office, but FFS get it in proportion to the real world, not some sort of holier than thou squeaky clean attribute that is being used for political (and maybe financial) ends.
Do you think that was the real motive? If they'd recorded and passed the info on to a newspaper without having told the police about the disurbance, they would have been vilified for not doing so. The blind acceptance that the call to the police was on humanitarian grounds is naive in the extreme.
You seem to be ignoring the fact that he is a man hoping to lead our Country. Lets agree we all know he's a gormless bleeder and hope it turns out for the best.
100% agree with the substance of your final sentence, but it's a fair assumption that the content of your first sentence is the reason it was reported in the first place. Rightly or wrongly, the whole affair is politically motivated whatever side of the fence you happen to sit, otherwise the "incident" would never have reached the press.
The fact only the Guardian have the tape and no other press have been allowed to hear it means they have paid for it,making tapes to sell is pretty low. If anyone wants to hear my neighbour having her noisy big O sent chk's and postal orders to po box Cheshs retirement fund!!!!!!.
MAN HAS LATE NIGHT ARGUMENT WITH PARTNER SHOCKER Where's the story So Boris will probably be our next Prime Minister. Does that mean he can't have a row with his Mrs?
