They've been building up to this for ages and they'll definitely try to go through with it. America always re-elects during a war, apparently. Israel and Saudi also approve, IIRC. Nice distraction during the election run-up and our American-born, American-funded PM will oblige.

Trump is a prick. A war with Iran would be a huge mistake and the US would get their arses handed to them in the region.
I agree it’d be a mistake for sure, there’s just nothing worth going to war with them for, unless they keep provoking. Saying they’d get their arses handed to them is ridiculous though, Iran is a dustbowl inside a week if it goes full-scale.
Trump wants a second term and he’ll sacrifice a **** load of lives to get it, who knows when Boris gets elected trump might ask him to send out some bullet fodder. Oh just to make this very clear I’m not disrespecting troops, I’m ****ing disrespecting certain people in power.
It’s nothing more than dick waving. If the US commit to conflict with Iran it’d be huge, they’ve no intention imho, this is nothing more than posturing that suits Trumps domestic and Middle East agendas.
I wouldn’t put anything past Trump, but it would be nonsensical to engage in conflict. I’m sure Israel wouldn’t mind if it kicked off though.
This. It's the same as N Korea when him and the little fat one teased. I'd bet my last penny that no strikes were called off as they were never going to happen.
Israel will be desperate for the Sherman’s to do their dirty work in the region, same as ever. But even the US have always backed off Iran when push came to shove. They’d be committing to a massive and costly conflict on a flimsy basis. Trump can get his rating boost by simply waving his dick at them, he doesn’t need to have a shot fired.
