I agree with mito 22m is a bargain for gomes. Hes shown him ability and physicality and hes still a good age. His passings a bit iffy when he tries the throughballs but other than hes a pretty good all rounder similar to gini. How they got 14m for vlasic and got gomes for 22m i dont know
someone who tries to create something is always going to have lesser pass % I find pass completion a silly stat to compare players outside of their positions. compare a cb to a cb or a no 6 to a no 6. etc. I think the lad is one of evertons best players. if they had a better forward to pass to.... Oh i i was looking at his pass percentage. Just everytime i iook at him play whenever i see him try a throughball or one over the top its a bit wayward or overhit. Think its further backed up by the assist stats. Might be better this season after settling in but hes still a really good player

The 3 retakes imo are simply not big enough to be called. The reality is the linesperson is meant to be looking at this. the rule should be much clearer about common sense. You can't dive without moving your weight and yes some keepers especial male come 2 yards off line but if you are diving and you are barely ff the line and you are then put out of world cup its patently disgraceful I would not use foam. I'd paint a line cos its the same always.... OR go ffs make it a clear step or two off line. I think the frnace one at weeked the keepers heel was just about on line and still got called.
