Draw is a good result, and a fair result too

I would have taken a point before kick off, so would everyone.

Seriously, who didn't expect a goal in the final minutes? Just before the corner was taken, I kind of knew there was a goal coming. And then it did!

Our midfield was outclassed today though - AGAIN. We will be alot better with Wilshere back in the team.

Dortmund are a top side though so a draw is not a bad result.

    A good point <ok>

    The goal was unstoppable.

I thought there was a lot to be pleased about with this game.

  5. Is this all just wishful thinking, lads? Or do you genuinely believe you will survive this group? Every game is going to be tough.

Benny wasn't setting the stage alight, but am happy to give him the benefit of doubt as he is certainly a bit rusty. Only saw Santos for a couple of minutes, but liked what I saw.

Wishful thinking? We drew 1-1 against a very decent German team who happened to win their league last year. Where's the wishing for anything? The only wishers around here are the spuds who wish they were in the CL!

Arsenal will improve, they will survive the group. Drawing away to the toughest team in the group is great. They should progress with home wins the main-stay.

It is impossible for an Arsenal fan to treat a Spud harshly. All derisory comments aimed at you shadow dwellers is justified, especially when in response to wummery like your 1st post.

  17. I don't think you can call my comment wummery. It was an genuine enquiry into how you truly think you will fare in your group. It was yet another far-from-convincing performance from your team tonight. Apart from that one great pass from Walcott, you didn't create much, whereas Dortmund were all over you like a rash, and really should have won that match easily.

Of course, I expect all true Gooners to put a brave face over it all, but a little bit of honesty, applied in the right measure, won't mark you out as a traitor to your team <ok>

An enquiry? How is accusing us of wishful thinking an enquiry? Your accusation came from so far out in the left field it could have been shot their by Defoe.

Forever in our shadows and forever on our board. The former is welcome, the latter isn't.

Why exactly would we 'of' won '5-0' - you think Dortmund should sit back and let us have target practise? The opposition are allowed to have a say too you know.
Would 'Cahill for £15 mil' and 'Jagielka for £20mil, 'Hazard for £30mil' have won us the game 5-0 then? <doh>
