I watch it only for footy. I haven't watched the "news" or those awful "reality" shows, or any other ****, for years. I was in the Sandbanks cafe, a couple of years back, and my missus said to me, "That's [insert name of dreadfully narcissistic personality from some dire TV drama]!" and I am pleased to report that I didn't have a clue who he was or what the fcuk she was on about.
I know you boys like rocks. @Tel @Commachio My favourite is the 24th one from the right 3rd row down. What’s yours ?
I watch channel 4 news on catch up / on demand or whatever it’s called. I think they are one of the best and most critical thinking news outlets out there. Also watch question time when that’s on. Watch footie on my laptop, although my stream is about 3 seasons behind everybody else. I have no interest in anything else tbh. I see TV on in people's houses and think 'why the **** are you watching that ****e?'. It just seems like vacuous rubbish, designed to drive people to distraction.
I'm sure there's probably some good stuff on if you're prepared to trawl through the endless hours of **** that's on there. I'm just not. I ditched my TV years ago and haven't bothered with TV licence since. Although that said, I did actually buy a small TV for my commercial unit when the world cup was on.
