Is Toblerone an official thing because I got one too? Also a keg of Old Speckled Hen and we are walking alpacas next month
FFS don't start him off mate. He's grating me now, fooker can build fences and gets given a bottle of decent plonk for fathers day.
I think I know what's happened here I spent years telling my kids momma's that's Valentine's day is a load of tripe and now this blazey attitude from the kids must be revenge
4 year old is too young to care...oldest one bought me a card which he didn't even fill out and has just strolled in from a house party...handed it to me n gone to bed...oh and a box of chocolates he's obviously picked up from the Petrol station Love ma Lads...just like Daddy
2017 ...(they know I wouldn't be happy if they spent anything daft on me) ... had a nice Argentinian Malbec (on offer at Waitrose) last night which, whilst very drinkable, will (hopefully) be put nicely in its place
First year my lad has really engaged, got a father n son dinosaur mug set and he got a canvas thing which he drew and coloured in etc which was pretty nice. Now going out for food with the old man and as per mentions in this thread he's insisting that he's buying
I got a home made glittery paper weight, a home made snow globe thing and a home made card from my middle lad, all courtesy of Cubs. He also got me a box of Celebrations. My daughter is away with her grandparents, got a home made card from her but she'd written To Momma in it!! Got a fist pump from my eldest. I took my two boys for breakfast, this set me back £40. I also took them two and the Mrs for a meal last night, this set me back £120. All told, it's cost me a bomb. I am playing gold this afternoon though. Which I'm dreading if I'm honest as I played utterly **** yesterday so it doesn't bode well.
Been shopping for food dropping my daughter off in work walking the dog and then I'm cooking and having a beer.
Haven't got any kids and my dad does his usual birthday/christmas/father day ritual. Me: What do you want for fathers day? Him: Nothing Me: You sure? We can go out or something for lunch, I'll pay Him: Nah Me: cool Will give him a bell later the grumpy **** but expect the conversation to be a bit of grunting from his end as he will be watching something on the TV at the same time and not really listening.
Incerdible dad socks Incredible dad t-shirt A little pottery thing we can paint together **** presents, but seeing my 2 year old girl genuinely excited watching me open them. Just wow. Puts everything in your life in perspective. Beautiful stuff
