So what useless **** did you get? Best Dad Ever Mug? A keyring? A beer glass? Or do you have to go out somewhere **** for Sunday lunch, generally a page you'd never go to usually? Still waiting for mine the lazy ****ers are still in bed. @DerekTheMole cards in the post, one of those online efforts where I don't even have to go to the shop.
You guessed correct with the mug A pair of Grumpy (from Snow White) socks A bottle of port A box of chocolates Slippers And we're going to the local Harvester
It's the thought that counts as they say. But something small but unique it dosen't have to be expensive is more appreciated. As for lunch, take control of the situation, say acutally I wouldn't mind trying this place... It's what you make it as well bro.
I think it's a day that truly celebrates the fact that you are just there to sort life out for everyone and that you've probably got work you could be doing while we were sorting out token gifts. I'll post pics of mine later.
3 daughters ... youngest still in bed ... middle currently staying with her boyfriend at Loughborough Uni and eldest coming over this afternoon with her boyfriend ... so nowt yet!
Tbh I'm just ****ing about and don't really care. It makes me laugh when they buy the **** presents. I'll post a pic of what they bought me one year, I never used it and binned it pretty quick it's quite unbelievable.
Not for me, no. I love a bit of serious DIY and already have a compressor and air tools. My old compressor is around 25 years old now and is on its last legs. This will be a welcome addition to the family!
I don't really have the temperment for DIY....in my younger days, if I did it I did a good job, but my patience is shhite with stuff like that. I paint a wall, a couple of brush strokes and my brain is bored. Bit like fixing the car, used to be able to strip one down and rebuild it, these days I just pay people to do it for me.
