"We are heading down a road here where we would kill all humour in this country if we tear things to pieces. Enough is enough, let people tell their jokes. If what they say is inappropriate they won't earn a living because they won't get booked again." Nigel Farage, 2014

“if they don't deliver this Brexit that I spent 25 years of my life working for, then I shall be forced to don khaki, pick up a rifle and head for the front lines”? Nigel Farage.

It pisses me off that we seem so offended by absolutely everything today. Yes, the Jo Brand joke was in bad taste, but it was a JOKE. She is not advocating that people throw battery acid. Comedians have been pushing the boundaries for years, I really don't have a problem with that.
Now we have Police investigating Jo Brand's comments. The Police would be better off tackling real crime like the knife crime epidemic etc.

My comedy hero is Bernard Manning.

I like cruel humour - the crueller the better. A particular source of amusement to me at the moment is the Women’s World Cup on Twitter <laugh>

The BBC ought to be a bit more concerned about how it's going to look when pensioners in their late 70's and 80's start being sent to prison.

Can't say I'm sorry but that kind of humour obviously passes me by.

Maybe you had to be there.

So sick of having an unelectable opposition leader. All this fretting about a Corbyn government. They all know it won't happen.

I was told last week by our Moderator that I was not allowed to vote for our next Prime Minister <grr>…. even though I offered to join the Tory Party in order to do so????…. Seems that this vote is very much a closed shop!

It’s to prevent entryism in the leadership contest - we saw it happen recently in another political party, when thousands of unemployed soap dodgers signed up & elected a Marxist scarecrow :emoticon-0148-yes:

Which is why we can’t allow riff raff like you the vote.

As you know, I spoke to the next PM in person two weeks ago at the House, and assured him of my vote next Friday :emoticon-0148-yes:
