You maxed season ticket sales last year (granted that they're up 5% this year) so there won't be much extra there. Your merchandise sales will be around the same, you are still fighting Ashley which will go long into the season and your wages have increased. King simply cannot spend another £10m without guarantee of Europe money again and you'll struggle to get the same easy run to the groups this year. If Aberdeen somehow sneak into the second round we take your seeding. That leaves the possibility of the likes of Wolves or Frankfurt for you. I'd imagine King is waiting until he knows what's happening there before he writes cheques. He spends £8m in transfers now and you fall at round two, he'll be looking at around £20m loss for the season. Even winning the treble would only take that down to around £15m. He can't keep doing that no matter how much you all like to claim "Rangers have no debt".
