Most people? What do you base that on?

Don’t worry Nigel will request people get guns to stop them, strange can’t say I’ve ever noticed anybody mention Jo Brand in relation to violence, wonder if Nige can say the same...

Why couldn’t the Tory MPs have held all their little ballots today to get to 2 candidates rather than wait another week plus to get this misery one step closer to the inevitable disastrous outcome?

That would spoil all the fun. Rod Stewart did quite well.
I’m overseas again, working with a lot of different nationalities. As you can imagine I avoid bringing up the subject of UK politics, but my colleagues keep asking. They have all heard of Johnson, and none of the other candidates to be PM. They are all shocked by the notion that Johnson could actually get the job. He’s seen as an untrustworthy joke.

So in marketing terms his brand recognition is excellent, but his net promoter score (would you recommend this to a friend) is a disaster.

Do you think what Brand said is acceptable?

The husband of Jo Cox (ardent Labour supporter) doesn't and neither do I.
If this had been a Tory suggesting someone should throw acid at Corbyn, you'd all be screeching the place down.

Your colleagues seem to be better judges of character than the Tory party then. A BJ premiership is looking inevitable, but could well be short-lived because his commitment to our leaving the EU on the 31st October will most likely prove impossible to fulfil.

An interesting comment from Stewart just now. He said that if Johnson tried to suspend Parliament to secure a No-Deal exit, 'we would bring him down'. I'm liking Rodders more and more.

It was plainly meant as a joke, Col. Admittedly an ill-advised one.

This is what Farage said a while back about what could happen if Brexit wasn't delivered to his satisfaction.......

There will be widespread public anger in this country on a scale and in a way we have never seen before. If they don't deliver this Brexit that I spent 25 years of my life working for, then I will be forced to don khaki, pick up a rifle and head for the front lines.

She is a comedian and he is seeking to be Prime Minister.

Which would you say was worse?

My colleagues are all liberals. Their time will come.
