It was a good shot that we ended the season with a trophy, because of that we can confidently tell our players that they can get what they are looking for elsewhere at Anfield.

A new deal for Oxlade-Chamberlain is inevitable but no announcement imminent. Liverpool have no interest in Nicolas Pepe. (@LynchStandard)

So next year. Ox back is as good as a new signing. Hope his injury doesn’t affect him. Keita back is like half a signing....although I have a feeling that the lad will be back on the treatment table sharpish tbh. Gomez back will be like a newish signing. Hope all 3 get a solid pre season in.

Brewster is intriguing - Klopp clearly rates him.

So we are going to sign a LB as an understudy to Robbo.

    Time for a holiday......

Need a RB too unless we're happy for Gomez to go back to the physio table

Klopp will play Gomez at RB before Milner. That's means we see Gomez inevitably get injured and Matip / Lovren play more.

The only squad gap we have is lb.

    The issue is quality.

    Our 2nd 11 isn't top 6 unlike our rival.

    Mingolet
    Gomez Matip lovren x
    Ox windy Milner
    Shaqiri brewster origi

Agree. We will live or die on our luck with injuries. Midfield is fine.....although I think most would like to see something different....unless you count Lallana as that!?!

Back up CB’s and Keeper are ok.

Gomez is first 11 so we should strive not to use him as back up to anything.

Forwards are weak although Brewster is an unknown. I thought that Klopp would be more brutal with the likes of Origi but he obviously is happy so fair play.

    LB is a priority <ok>

LB and RB two key areas that need back up. If we can get someone to cover both or lb/cb and rb/cb would be useful. A bit of versatility.

Midfield, who knows, depends what klopp wants to do with it. Of being back and Keita having season under should hopefully give us something different.

Then just need versatile forward that can play across front line to rotate with Mane/Salah and maybe even a more recognised centre forward to offer something different from firmino

Better to have someone that can play RB/RM/RW or LB/LM/LW.

RB/CB and LB/CB would mean they're probably more defensive minded

ki is coming... windy and Henderson can fill in a game and so can gomez. lets see what klopp does with ki.

left full... I cannot see lewis making it so I'd agree we need to buy here.

I'd also agree that form a position of strength to not buy a next level forward would be... Sad...

Liverpool have reportedly ruled out signing free-agent Max Kruse despite being linked with a move for the German striker earlier this summer.
According to LiverpooECHO, Liverpool are unlikely to continue their pursuit of Max Kruse this summer. It is believed that they are reluctant to block the path of teenage sensation Rhian Brewster while they also want to tie down Divock Origi to a long-term contract.
