    Now, now. I have met the chap in question many times and he is an absolutely top bloke. Won't hear owt to the contrary and you'd be surprised about how much he says is true, i.e. all of it. BTW where does the turncoat thing come from?

    When I was a young one my Mackem dad used to drag me to Roker Park until I was around 8 or 9 and I told him I wanted to support NUFC as he told me his cousin (Paul Stephenson) played for the youth team. My dad has hated me ever since but Paul got me loadsa signed stuff from Gazza (when he signed stuff with his full name) and Beardo etc... Although paul’s Team went on to lift the youth cup In 85 so I was clearly a glory seeker.
