One thing that is widely ignored by those hordes, foaming at the mouth and peddling allegations, is that Stein’s son George was a member of the Celtic Boys Club. What parent would knowingly have their child in an organisation, that had the likes of Torbett there preying on kids?

I certainly wouldn’t as a parent, would any parent? Would we put the ‘good name’ of the businesses we work for ahead of the safety of our children? Why would Stein put Celtic before his son’s safety? I know that I would never put my child’s safety before the name of a football club.

 

He had years to talk but said nothing, Jock died in 1985 but we are supposed to believe Birt said nothing until Torbett's trial in 1998.

Why? What stopped him going to the Cops himself if he knew what was going on and had evidence of it?

 

Not sure of his mindset mate. Also not sure why he would lie about it.

 

He had to say it at the trial, he was under oath.

Different times back then as has been played out with religious wing of Celtic (RC Church), Saville was a known nonce and was allowed to deflower young and sweet teen girls (CALM DOWN GROVE) as was Stewart Lee etc.

Arrest made.
Birt THEN makes the claim that Jock told him he booted out Torbett. However Torbett was not booted out, his forthcoming departure at the end of the season was announced.
Birts statement does not match the facts.

 

Reading between the lines I'm pretty sure Birt was a *****.
