Lonergan had another great game Saturday kept us in it giving us the chance to win :)

Was great to see Kasper flapping at a cross, I wonder how long he is going to be able to live off his daddies name :)

Leicester fans we did warn you he was bab tash

    Just an opinion :)

Does look like a good bit of Business with hindsight.

Lonergan looks confident for us and is producing the goods as an all rounder.

Kasper is good at shot stopping but as you say weak on crosses/ commanding the area.

The Barnsley goal was typical of what he is all about! misjudged the flight of the ball and then kicked off blaming everyone else.

He's conceded 11 goals so far where Kasper had conceded this time last season. I am fully in agreement that Lonners looks a much better keeper but he could really make himself look good with four capable defenders in front of him.

Kissa sadly is not the answer to our woes, Lee's has done a great job since he has come in, but he has replaced arguably our best defender last season in Connoly so no great improvement in the team. Left back is still an issue, although White has looked ok there, Grayson publicly said last term he saw White as a winger. More square pegs trying to plug the gap.

Lets see Lees in the middle with a new CB & a left back of some calibre brought in & see how good Lonners is as i am very impressed in his shot stopping so far.

What do you reckon to White - Lees - O'Dea - Conolly along the back? O'Dea has looked reasonably solid since joining, Kisnorbo has been a bit sketchy.

All in all it's about positioning and composure, I believe it's a problem in training.

Marko <ok> Looks good to me, O'Dea & Kissa to fight it out for the CB spot next to the youngster unless we can get someone in that can do the job.

The people saying we have too many centre backs already are 100% right. We have far too many. We have loads on the books and most of them are potentially good - I'm not convinced Bruce is **** and I'm struggling to see why he hasn't been at least tried.

The training is clearly the problem. Need a rethink of the backroom staff or even just training methods.

He's been our man of the match in 3 games of our 6.

If you watched the FLS you will see he kept us in the game at the end from a couple of counter attacks.

Shame you have to scrape past Crystal Palace and concede twice to come to the conclusion that Kasper is a worse keeper.

At 25 he's a class act and will only get better<ok>

1m is an absolute steal, especially when we got 500 odd grand back off Gradel <laugh>

    Good ol' Ken <ok>

We made £1m+ profit on Gradel after paying Leicester the sell-on fee,so thanks for that.
We made £1m+ profit on Kasper & got a better keeper in Lonergan,so thanks for that aswell.
All in all, both great deals for Leeds United.

You got 400k off Gradel well done :) we mate 1.75 million good business for a player who wanted to leave, A keepers job is to stop the ball going in the net! he hasn't done that very well and he couldnt blame the defence for the goal on saturday even tho he will try his best!

All the goals Lonergan has conceded have been ****e defending! god knows how many we wouldve conceded had Kasper still been here,

We beat Crystal Palace and played awful :) you drew with a team thats going to get relegated

I said at the time of the Kasper transfer that it would turn out to be a good deal for both clubs. We got the money for a player who wouldn't have signed a new contract and would have left for free in a years time and got in a more all round keeper, whereas Leicester got in a good keeper who is young and will improve.

he won't improve - his attitude is all wrong. His arrogance will make him think he's better than he is and as such his mind will reject experience rather than learning from it.

That would mean we got 3m for him. Do your maths again.

    Nobody regretting Ankergren leaving then?

He does seem to be the best performing keeper in the league at the moment.

He was a good shot stopper, but when he was at Leeds he flapped at crosses, his kicking was awful and he seemed a bit nervous at times. I haven't seen him since, so if he's improved on those problems, he'll be a quality keeper.

Lonergran's been great so far so its not really a problem for us.

Casper was pretty much Kasper without the bad attitude.

Fair enough, I can't think I've seen him more than once for Brighton.

If you do find yourselves needing another keeper, we've got a Hungarian U21 international on loan from Liverpool that you can have, he should be fine with you, the bastards played for Leeds once already this season. <laugh>
