Congratulations to you both! For a little coincidence Tuesday was our 7th wedding anniversary and we also began our ceremony at 11:00am. We're also celebrating 20 years together* this summer. *this time around... we were also teenage sweethearts in the early 80s.
Morning all. Sunshine and some cloud this morning, but the promise of a dry day. Yesterday it rained solidly until 8.00 pm by which time I had given up any thoughts of outside jobs. Ordered a fly screen from Amazon for our French windows as the local store had run out. In previous years when I have needed to renew it, it came from England, but this time it is coming from Germany. Amazon fr. have opened a huge new distribution centre in the north of the country employing up to 4,000 people when they are busy, and have changed from only selling books, CDs etc to more general items. I don't use Amazon anymore than necessary because of their tax dodging, but they do provide a good service, and it keeps my post lady in a job.
Morning all. It is wet again, and the forecast says it will be wet most of the day. I have a concert to go to this evening when my youngest granddaughter will be showing of her skills on the keyboard. She is very good, better than I was at that age. I wonder where it will take her as she gets older.
Morning all, been up for a couple of hours so excuse the multiple posts on here! [emoji6] Sent from my F8331 using Tapatalk
Morning all. Bright but still a bit breezy. The storm that sat out in the Bay of Biscay has moved north, and it seems that was creating the storm like conditions over here. Saddened to see that three people from a lifeboat lost their lives going to the aid of a small boat caught up in the storm off the Vendée coast. There are so many people around who will put their own lives at risk to save others.
Morning all. Cloudy with some showers this morning, but it should be better this afternoon. There has been a very good turn out this weekend for the get to know the countryside and history of your local area. A Belgian couple bought a large house in the centre of the small town down the hill from here, and have faithfully restored both the building and gardens to what they were at the time it was the Priory. There is very little written down about this area, but slowly I am finding out more. Have an interesting day.
Very interesting eh.. We have a family brunch followed by the local fête... Yorkie is the breakfast chef... Sent from my F8331 using Tapatalk
