Shazam Absolute dog **** kids film with very few funny bits. 10/10 on the cheese 2/10 everything else
I dont get DC, its like they've given up trying to make an extended Universe and are now just chucking films and TV series out. The new Joker film, it maybe great but I don't get it. Its just so unconnected. Even DC's best effort of Wonder Woman wasn't all that great. DC need to cancel all and start again in a few years time with a clear vision what the **** they actually want to do with the characters.
Only decent dc films I can remember are the dark Knight films, and spawn. Justice league is dogshit as is the superman v batman and the superman movies. Wonder woman is OK cos she's very ****able Aquaman is crap too
Dark Knight Trilogy is great, but I struggle to see them as DC films, they feel more like Nolan films with Batman in them. Since they've been 'DC' produced just haven't done it. And they should absolutely wipe the floor with Marvel as they have the Big name characters. The films just always seem to be humourless CGI messes
I also prefer many of the dc characters, they have some great villains too. Nolan makes great films imo only film of his I thought was ****e was Dunkirk. Actually some of my favourite films are nolan movies. Inception Dark Knight trilogy Momento Transcendence Also like a few of mel gibsons films too Apocalypto Passion of christ Hacksaw ridge
Yeah Dunkirk was utter drivel. It fell into a bare faced wave the flag patriotic thing. But mostly it was the **** cgi at the end and the fact you could tell they had one junkers, and two stunts plus a couple of spits to film with. Utterly failed to get scale of action and size of cataclysm and also really failed in terms of good old action.
When they made The Battle of Britain they had 100 flying period aircraft, it was the 35th biggest air force in the world at the time. They also had 100+ non flying ones which were used for ground shots.
Yes and that was then but it takes very little effort to repaint a few if needed and then combine shots. Or invest properly in cgi and go do it right. We understand how rare the real thing is now. I can understand you cannot glide a real Spitfire to land it on a beach due to the risk and you can't burn one but my god.... if it's so blatantly obvious it's poor cgi then you burn something thst is so patently a bit of wood not an engine etc when you see it....
The new Wonder Woman and Joker films should be good because they forget about trying to do extended universe stuff and just let talented people make good films
Thought the CGI in Hurricane was crap too - the effects were better in the Battle of Britain 50 years ago, even when they used models for the planes. Still think the best dogfight scenes I've viewed have been on Top Gun - ****ing ace when you're stoned. You can feel your heart booming through your chest. Memphis Belle was good too.
Mate of my birds just had a newborn girl and called it arya (game of thrones) Better than northwest or peaches I think
