I'm beginning to think Sid supports that little blue and white team and we have discovered Mike's new identity.

NO!!!! Read what I have said you muppet!!

I have never said ANY of those things you accuse me of, I have not accused Lambert of making a mistake at all! I merely questioned why de Laet is being hailed as the messiah as early evidence suggests otherwise to me. I never said releasing Doc was a mistake either and regarding Morison I merely questioned on another thread whether Morison was going to be up to the Premiership - not saying his signing was a mistake at all so get your facts right before you try to get involved in the discussion or don't bother at all.

You will never hear "Lambert out" from me, I am actually one of the more positive posters on any forum you can find. You clearly don't understand what I'm saying so I don't even know why I'm bothering to reply as you'll probably take that out of context as well.

...and I'm starting to think that some of our fans perhaps don't have as much in the brain cell department as they'd like to think <ok>

I think, put simply, De Laet is an unknown. He's young and inexperienced and so will make mistakes. But he has the potential to be great. To reach that potential he has to learn, and he will learn from his mistakes.

sid, look, its your opinion, its not mine or the vast majority but no need to get the word 'muppet' out! that indicates to me that you are having second thoughts and can't argue your case any more. i struggle to find any logic whatsoever in your argument for doc and neither does anyone else which is why you are taking it from all sides here, but if thats what you think then fair enough.

i just find it surprising, very very surprising. i would rank doc as a player who was a 6 out of 10 most matches. sometimes he'd be poor and get a 5 and other times he'd be a bit better and get a 7. i'm struggling to think of him having stand out matches but de laet against stoke was a stand out performance - he oozed class - and despite his error against wigan, he along with morison were by far and away our best players. and didn't he get player of the month for august or did i imagine that?

Personal abuse does not make your case stronger. I might be a Muppet but if somebody says that a Premiership Manager has bought a player who is not up to the standard of the Premiership then, in Muppet land, that is saying that he has made a mistake in buying him. Similarly if somebody says that a player in a Premiership team is no better than a player who can't get into a League 1 team then again, in Muppet land, that is the same as saying that the Manager has made a mistake in bringing in one player and/or releasing the other. Perhaps life in Muppet land is a bit too simple!!!

Sidney, it's just that I am completely perplexed by your arguments, maybe you have certain pathognmonic features that sway you in an esoteric direction, but I do find your argument somewhat falacious and egregious, which may explain my neonatal like response.

Thank you SN 23 - I am enjoying the discussion on this thread and like to see people getting passionate about our beloved canaries, but, just because someone holds a different view to yours, let's not get into silly name-calling!

    Thank you!

Apologies Dave and apologies 1950 if I offended you (though I'd have thought a 61 year old has been called worse than a muppet in his time so wasn't anticipating so many hurt feelings, ah well), however my opinion hasn't changed in the slightest and I still find a lot of the tosh I'm reading on this thread laughable - seriously!

I'm toddling off down the boozer now so you lot can carry on with your de Laet back-slapping and worshipping whilst conveniently ignoring the THREE GOALS WE HAVE CONCEDED THIS SEASON FOLLOWING HIS ABSOLUTE HOWLERS to your heart's content, you poor misguided fools

    <ok>

just wondering sid what your thoughts are on grant holt. he's missed some good chances this season which could have earned us points. do you rate darren beckford higher than him cos he has scored more goals in the top flight? ;)

    enjoy the booze!

I wish I was only 61 - 1950 is the date my Grandad first took me to Carrow Road!!! I wasn't offended - just didn't see the need for it.

Same as last year for Holt, a little slow to start with and for me not quite playing to his full potential just yet but I've certainly not been disappointed with him at all and still expect him to score a dozen goals (as well as contributing far far more than just sticking the ball in the net) which would be a pretty decent return. He sure gave Terry a hard time, took his goal brilliantly and I doubt many CBs will relish coming up again his this season.

I was surprised that Lambo took him off when he did on Sunday (as I mentioned in that other tread), especially as Wes was looking so lively but he obviously had his reasons which I'm apparently not even allowed to question for a moment or else I'll be castigated as the founder leader of the "Lambert Out" brigade so perhaps best to leave it there.

    Right, that really is it!!

No worries, though if you'd have actually taken care to read what I had actually written before you added your two penneth it wouldn't have come to that. Apologies again, we are all one big family here at the end of the day so I don't mean to offend anyone - I just get frustrated with reading rubbish, always have done and always will.

And that REALLY is all from me lol
