Cardiff fan, We would consider that one of his better games but he can win a game for you when he really goes for it. The main problem we had particularly the back end of the season, his effort was lacking at times. With the players you have he should step up to the mark as his position in the team is not as safe as it was at Cardiff.
He did well apart from missing from 3 yards.End of the day you just gotta score those, just ask our old mucka Earnshaw!
He had a shot cleared off the line! Any doubters would be without a leg to stand on really, had it gone in. I swear the man is magnetic..the ball sticks to his like something else! Without him we wouldn't have posed nearly as much of a threat in their half, i'd imagine it gave the other players extra space. His hold up play gave our attacking players more time to catch up with the play too, which lends itself to a decent counter-attacking structure.
I see Ishan Saksena came along. I wonder if he'll make a return in some way. Him and Bhatia contained the two clowns excellently and he obviously still has a passion for the club.
He's missed a lot of chances since those Uggs were vandalised. Maybe we need a whip-around for a new pair..
Bothroyd was GREAT last night. Their defense had no idea what to do with him and he bossed them around all night. He just didn't get the strikes he wanted but he will start banging them in.
Northy your gonna have to let this one go now mate, your gonna give yourself a coronary!Wait until after the Wolves game and then you can start again!
I was getting cross with him last night, and then I come back to everyone bigging him up on here! My aunt Nelly would've put away one of them chances. My last word on it, hope he scores Saturday.
