    No tartare sauce with traditional English Fish and Chips? At least they had the traditional slaw!

    He failed to comment on the lack of mushy peas, or curry sauce.

    Went to Pappas once and it was the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. How the **** do you burn fish? Never been back. Amateurs.

    It is very hit and miss at Pappas
    Had some very good ones there but some crap too.

    I much prefer to use an independent for coffee & scoff etc - I gotta say though, the Papa's on the pier at Cleggy is consistently good, beautiful fresh haddock, lightly battered with perfect chips .... they're very good.

    Steels Corner House and Ernie Beckett's - both excellent: I think anywhere that lands fresh fish on a regular basis is definitely the place to go for a fish supper.
