Oh good  seriously though there's just no comparison between the likes of Free and similar bands of that ilk from that era and the ****e that came out a decade later like Duran Duran, Japan and Spandau Ballet <doh>

****ing hell even Glam Rock was better than all that New Romantic bollocks

Nobody has mentioned my favourite band of the 80's.

This band single handedly made Live Aid the success it was!!!!!!!

The only winners of live aid were the bands who got free publicity all around the World

    That's a bit harsh.

Queen were in a different league to all other performers!

I'm not denying Queen were a great band Ell,, I saw them at Elland Road, but they, like most of the bands knew this was an opportunity to put THEMSELVES on the world stage and make plenty of dough, which Queen did, they were on the way down when live aid began

Useless piece of information: One of Kossoff's guitars, a 1957 Fender Stratocaster, was bought after his death by Dave Murray of the band Iron Maiden; he used it from 1978 to 1990.[7]

I'm here all week also

I never knew that Forza, Thanks<ok>
Peter Green's famous '59 Gibson Les Paul is now in the hands of Kirk Hammett of Metallica, he bought it from Gary Moore who gave Peter Green 300 quid for it <wah> its worth about half a mill now apparently
