Here atm. Been for a surf. Going home to check on my Toad now

 

Boring as hell day, helping with system tests so sat in front of a computer while someone works on it remotely I then have to click a button once every hour or so. Been doing that since 8.

 

Had a ****ing awful day today, system updates have caused havoc.

 

I don't mind the havoc when things go wrong as I work with a bunch of twats that have meltdowns when that happens and I enjoy that.

 

Yeah but today I'm the person that ****s are meltdowning at...

 

Been contemplating early retirement all day. I can’t decide whether I’d be bored out of my brain or not.

 

I almost got someone sacked once as I goaded her into confronting someone, they went off on one swearing and everything. Very funny.

 

How early we talking?

 

I used to do sales so am good at keeping my cool.










Just rant here instead.

 

****ing do it! I'd retire now if I could. Take up painting, writing, jogging, Xbox, paragliding, get a dog. Anything but work.

 

I do sales now. Some people are highly strung, I just enjoy the drama.

 

This year.

 

I don’t know if I’d miss the buzz too much, and veg out a bit.

 

If you can afford it mate and have plenty to enjoy your life then go for it, depends how much you think you'll miss it.

 

Not sure Libby sells razors tbf mate.

 

I suppose it's difficult if you have a job you enjoy. I think you have to be the kind of person who would enjoy the free time and be able to fill it easily.

 

I enjoy my job, I'd enjoy not doing it even more.

 

I hate my job so dream of being able to retire. 55 is the plan though.

 

I'd happily retire I five more years but probably can't afford it so looking at ten.

Will see where I'm at then, kids might need Uni top up money etc..

In fact, they no doubt will in some shape.
Would still like to say **** it and play a load of week day golf and surf again.

Talking of, been playing some sunshine golf today. Chipping Sodbury, very nice.
