Really? Because we look forward to the day you learn that knockout tournaments and leagues are not the same, and decide that rather than trying to finagle some sort of credit for your team failing to win **** all....again......that its better to just shut the **** up until your team actually wins something. But we wont hold our breath....
It is nothing to do credit. I want to watch the best standard of football. Of course I want more trophies. I have seen Spurs win 14 in my lifetime. I don’t want us to win the EL because the standard of football is below what I consider enjoyable.
Usually the elite class are successful clubs Like Man U, Liverpool, & Chelsea. All have won a CL but only Chelsea & United have won all three of europes major competitions. The fans of those clubs have earned the right to watch the best standrd of football as opposed to a small to medium club who have won one league cup in two decades.
14 trophies in my lifetime isnt too shaby. My dad was a Chelsea fan late in life. He didn't really have a team before he was in his late forties.
This isn't golf. You don't get an exemption into the Open for ever because you won it before. It is about who is the best now.
That's all very well, but Spurs aren't really in a position to be writing off any trophies, seeing as you haven't won any for over a decade.
And that isn't Spurs. You came 4th, remember? Which brings us right back to winding your neck in until you win something.....
You can worry about trophies. I am more interested in watching the best teams in the world coming to our new stadium. I don't want to drop down a level to give us a better chance of winning.
Typical spud reply, you have always been a cup side. Chelsea have always played the better football. Even though we was **** last year we made two finals and finished above your small over-rated team alledgely your best team in 57 years. Think of yourself as a boil on your arse, it's not life threatening but fleeting annoyance.
What 14 would they be, out of curiosity mate, or are you like 70ish and saw the league titles. I remember the 1966 World Cup so I am an oldish bugger but had you down as someone a bit younger.
I reckon he is 75/76 years old as he remembers the 1950/51 season but I still reckon he has counted the Norwich hospital cup.
