Serious question - Why do we think Duchatelet hasn’t signed Lee Bowyer up to a contract ?? No need to reply that the owner is a cvnt- that goes without saying. This is spiteful.
Because he doesn't want to spend any money. He has gone without a CEO, CFO. Perhaps he thinks he can go without a Manager.
It’s hard to escape the feeling that Duchatelet is giving Bowyer a decision to make, and can then paint him as the bad guy. He knows WBA can pay three or four times the wages. I get the impression Bowyer is playing hardball - he's trying to pressure RD into offering him a substantially better deal. If LB doesn't get what he wants, whether or not he stays will depend on if he has a firm offer from another Club which is much better than what RD is prepared to offer him. If he does not, he may take what RD is offering and make a play of how loyal he is being. If he does, he may well leave and then blame RD for being such an ungrateful old miser. Bowyer has maximum respect & credibility with Charlton fans at the moment, and Roland has none. Not too difficult to guess who will be believed if Bowyer walks away.
At any football club that is even half way normal, Bowyer gets a new contract within 48 hours of Wembley.

Another club with a **** owner - Coventry City - have announced that they are playing at Birmingham’s St Andrews next season. The EFL really are fvcking useless.
I can think of no genuine Charlton fan who would post only once about our brilliant win at Wembley, yet between 20-50 times every day on a takeover thread, basically spouting bollox. Such a person would clearly have a personal agenda around self advancement, and no genuine interest in our club. Thank God I don’t know of a single genuine Charlton fan who behaves like that
