Saying that, if Liverpool had lost the final I wouldn't have swapped our season with anyone else's still. It's all about the ride!

They don't, both Valencia and Napoli qualified for the CL but got knocked out by an EL team, Arsenal.

 

The people who are satisfied with mediocrity are those who voted that they would prefer winning the EL. They can only even be in the EL by being mediocre in the first place. Aim high!

Anyway, I do agree with your point that the worst teams in the CL overlap with the best in the EL. i.e. Spurs and Arsenal, with a 1 point difference separating them.

 

I agree with your second sentence. I would much rather watch Spurs play Real Madrid, Barcelona, Dortmund and Liverpool than beat Clubs like Napoli.

Each of Arsenal, Napoli and Valencia are inferior to at least one team in the CL. Try to Name a team in the EL which doesn’t meet that criteria and you will see where you are going wrong.
