At this rate we won't have anyone to play on it anyway plym. If nothing is announced tomorrow I'm sending the wife out there to complain. She's better at it than me.

So we have our new manager.....Ryan Lowe (40 yrs old)... who brings with him his first team coach Steven Schumacher (35 yrs old).

I also see that Nicky Adams a 32 yr old winger has also left Bury and returned to Northampton were he helped them gain promotion in 2015.....his name had been mentioned regarding a transfer to Argyle.

Beautiful: only 3 hours after the Herald Tweeted another "Why the delay, what's going on at Argyle?" thing,

I saw a compilation of 2018/19 goals by Danny Mayor of Bury on Twitter. I can't link to it. He makes Graham Carey look like an amateur. Jus' sayin'.

Summer break for construction workers? I don't think so. There's a 2 week shut down at Christmas but lay concrete while the sun shines!

Big news....James Brent and his daughter Natasha have stepped down from the board of PAFC.

Simon Hallett has bought Brent's 30% share holding and now owns 94% of PAFC's shares.

Yes....we've gone from no news...to news overload....with the announcement of a new manager and his assistant.....then on to James Brent and his daughter Natasha stepping down from the board of directors....to Simon Hallett having bought Brent's 30% share holding and now owning 94% of PAFC.....so many shares owned by one person might not be ideal....but in bleeding green Hallett hopefully not a problem.

Great servant to the club. Bury fans are where we were before Brent and let's hope they can keep their club going.

Can Hallet take us back up again? What with the grandstand, the changes to the board and senior management, the sacking of Adams and the recruitment of Lowe, it seems he's rather more hands-on and more able to put his hand in his pocket.

With immediate effect for sure Plym.... no point in an outgoing football manager serving out a period of notice is there?

I suppose any existing holiday plans may be honoured but no doubt he'll want to speak to PAFC players who've been offered new contracts and also to feed any potential new recruits he already knows he wants into the PAFC process. I daresay that came up in the recruitment/appointment process anyway.

It sounds as if he will not be.. 'introduced'...till next week...with Hallett and some of his admin on their Portuguese jolly at the moment....(will they be seeing the England game ?).....so not sure if he will be down Home Park till then....but it doesn't stop him planning and checking who he's got and who he wants.

A lot of talk about how Ryan Lowe had an attacking style of play with his Bury team to gain promotion back to Div 1 at first time of asking.

We mustn't forget he had on paper a good team to start with....and financially they fuelled the sinking into the red that has got Bury with debts of £8 million.

Div 2 had two Bury players in their team of the year last season.....Danny Mayor and Nicky Maynard.....also in his team he had Nicky Adams who has returned to Northampton where he gained promotion with in 2015....they ran away with the league that season....so his team is already breaking up because of the financial disaster with the owner desperate for a buyer.

What I'm saying is he got promotion with some good players in his team.......so it will be important for Lowe to get good players in to repeat his success of last season....he can't produce a winning team from what has been Argyle's signings in recent years....he's not a magician.
