I see that Hiag, Spurlock, PNP, and RCL are all missing in the Himalayas and hope of finding them alive is fading fast as the helicopters have been grounded due to unfavourable conditions.

I bet they are all hoddled together to keep warm in some cave and will emerge when the snow melts, but they will all have frostbite and may need surgery to be separated from each other

I love Durham. He's a fellow wumster. Not quite as subtle as me, but decent.

He wums Spurs and Arsenal in equal measure.

What lets him down is that he licks Mouser arse along with the rest of that station's hacks. He considers himself the "hard man" of radio, but he's nothing more than a pussy, like the rest of them.

Still, as I say, he's a decent enough wumster.

He wums Arsenal by (correctly) pointing out that Arsenal are the league's greatest ever bottlers.

He wums Spurs (wrongly, in my view) by banging on about how we haven't "won anything yet."

He's ginger, but I won't hold that against him.

I actually quite respect Durham. Many is the time that I have referred to his show, on this board.

One of my favourites is the time when he was debating why Arsenal hadn't sacked Wenger. A Gooner phoned in, who was very direct and honest with his appraisal of the team. Durham was trying to goad the Gooner, but the lad (to his credit) went even further than Durham in saying how **** Arsenal were.

"What about Granit Xhaka?" asked Durham. "Surely, you don't rate him?"

"Granit Xhaka?" opined the Gooner, with a mirthful grin. "I'd rather have Granny Smith up front!"

I nearly crashed my Merc into a tree, I was laughing so hard!


So, you see, mate, I can't dislike Durham. Call it "honour among wumsters," if you will.
