I get what your saying but that is not the clubs fault and as i said the south americans tend to give a good account. You could apply the same argument to the world cup as the winners usually hail from south america or europe

I believe that tournament is called the confederations cup (well winner of other regions) and everyone things its ****. Germany even took a reserve team last time out
Confederations Cup is like the Cup Winners' Cup, which was also crap. They cancelled it after even Everton won it.
there is a competition for that and most teams.send younger squads so their real stars can have summer off.
Didn’t say it was a prestige’s trophy but you telling me you’d rather lose it than win? Like I said, get the squad used to winning finals, one off games. preperation for other finals. Brilliant season but we’ve won 1 trophy in 7 years and won 1 out of 4 finals since klopp took over. Team need to get used to winning these games, yes it may not mean that much but if it prepares them mentally for a a league cup / game cup final, or a one of title decider or heaven forbid another CL final then great.

Honestly you try to win it like every other gamr but whether we win it or lose it its on of those games i would honestly say i dont give a monkeys about. Not sure i even bothered to watch it last time we got battered by atletico and not sure i have ever bothered

Nah hes deffo gone and pretty much confirmed it in the interview. Also roman has shown time and again hes pretty good to the players if they want to leave. Sarri also looks like hes gone so who knows what will happen to this team. I liked sarri and he needed time although i wasnt too hot on all that passing and lack of bodies in the box but it takes time implement things (klopp 3 years). Probably for the best with our transfer ban and after the disgraceful chanting mid season of sarri, i i cant blame him for wanting to go plus i dont think he would have got that much time if things went wrong (from the fans that is). As for pulisic, his stats arent great shakes. Hes looked pretty good when he plays for the states (who are ****) but the few times ive seen him come on as a sub in the cl hes looked distinctly average. One thing he will do is work harder than hazard though who doesnt really have the enegy to be up and down
I can't recall many world club cups bar utd making sure everyone knew is by putting as big a logo as possible on thier kit I can recall one Super cup for LFc and thats 2001. I can recall who we played and who scored. I know we won it in 2006 as well but without googling it i bet not many could name the opponent.
I had to google it up and cheslea lost to corinthians in 2012. 0-1 utd won 1-0 v some ecuadorian team 1-0... we lost 1-0 to corinthians in 2005. For the past 5 or 6 years the finals of this world club cup have been "mixed" as in european teams wins it but the final doesn't even have a top south american side in it half the time. It sounds like the south americans don't take it too serious any more. I'm not sure but the copa libertadores is only played up to november so we won't know whos the team going to play us un til then
yup. The schedule will become clear in due course. I'm more pushed about the super cup. Its in turkey so just as long a trip really... its another couple hours on a plane to qatar really. The fixutres will be: FA slush fund shield 3rd/4th august depending when the FA want it in wembley. Premier league round 1: 10th-11th august. Uefa slush fund super cup 14th august Premier league round 2: 17/18th August No doubt the random computer fixtures will have us play away to city one of those two dates. the world club cup: Semi final 18th December last year 22nd december was final or 3rd place game. so again.. fxitures are not out but say we play league on 15th December.... fly out 16th... play some **** team mid week. Play the next game on 22nd (Saturday) Fly home... next league game is boxing day on 26th. We have then 1 game in hand to fit on OR we may well fit it in before hand.... Its a mid winter hot weather camp IMO. Qatar = hot hot hot but it is not as far as it might have been.
