Rumors kicking around that our head coach of the academy is going to the mags! Anyone heard anything?
Cancel that it’s in the echo seems to be happening. https://www.sunderlandecho.com/spor...o-local-rivals-newcastle-united-1-9801690/amp
Feck him then, what a w@nker of a bloke he must be to jump ship to our arch rivals after 1 year? On a side note, when did Newcastle actually produce any talent since Andy Carroll? Its a genuine question, im curious.
He cant have had that much of an impact considering Honeyman, Mumba, Robson,Embleton and Hume all made it to the first team squad before hed hardly even done anything.
Aye that’s the way I see it mate, obvs no morals to go to them scruffs there ground and training ground are falling to pieces.
The stadium is aswell mate. Theres obviously something seriously wrong with their setup to hardly ever produce any young talent. Ive just seen this article. Remember Louis Laing? His career as gone the same as Nobles did. He was once very highly rated and played for England at youth level... https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/n...epool-united-defender-heading-for-darlington/
Get Robbie Stockdale back, he was responsible for our success at that level more than any other imo, and he stood in as manager, putting in some of our young squad into the first team, who gave a stand out attacking performance against Wolves last game of the season before last. He was rewarded for his efforts by being shown the door, big mistake. I was half hoping at the time he would get the managers job, he must have been considered, maybe that's why he eventually went, who knows.
Sean Longstaff played well for them last season and he's being looked at by the top clubs. They all rate that Sorensen lad but I've seen him twice, he's bang average and miles away from first team football.
How you doing Somb? I was over your neck of the woods about this time last year. Shagging some tart but it didn't last long. Thankfully.
Better than your usual reason you come here for I’m canny, retiring on Friday. I’m 60 in September and was going to pack in then, but I might as well have the summer in the garden.
I'd like to think them days are long gone. I've had a shop in Durham and a website but I had no choice but to give it up. Settled with an older bird now and don't get out and about much at all now. 59 is a canny age to retire. Enjoy it but find yourself something to do. I know a couple of blokes who it has got the better of
I play a bit golf and I don’t mind keeping the garden tidy. I do like a drink, bit too much sometimes, but her indoors will keep me on the straight and narrow.
