hmm, that sounds like what happened to us when we were on the cusp with Harry. sacked the manager, sold the players, got Glenn Roeder as manager and signed Gary Breen, on a free.
Sold Lampard for £11m and bought Repka and Hutchison with the money. Roeder having a brain tumour probably screwed things up more in the long run, though. Poor bloke.
So would those who attended WHL for the CL event consider doing it for other big "away" games during a season, or leave it only for cup finals ??
I certainly agree with them to a point: our final ball was shocking in the first half, which tended to create more throw-ins for Liverpool than goalscoring chances for us, and we certainly were rushing half-chances instead of letting them become full chances for a chunk of the second half
That's pretty much how I saw it. Played really well until we were close to goal and then made bad decisions.
