Come third and win Europa League, and therefore be a top seed for CL next season. Or come fourth and reach CL final. Tricky one, as you can't beat a good run in the European Cup, especially for a club like Spurs... @Hoddle Is A God @Spurlock @NSIS @PowerSpurs @PleaseNotPoll
Amazingly, Uefa awarded us more club co-efficient points than Spurs and Liverpool. And rated us and Barca as best sides in Europe. We are seeded for group stages, you aren't
Don't shoot the messenger..... https://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/uefarankings/club/#/yr/2019 I guess us and Barca dominated our groups
I guess, we’ll I don’t actually, that you finished 25 points behind the team that won the premiership and 24 points behind the team that finished 2nd. I haven’t bothered to read the nonsense you’ve linked to. It’s laughable!
We couldn't win the Europa League because we were not bad enough to qualify for it. It is very weird that you get the same coefficient for matches in that competition as you do for the CL though.
As a fan, finishing 3rd and winning a trophy is obviously better than finishing lower and not winning a trophy, even if it is a second-tier trophy like the Europa. However, financially, a CL final run will generate more money than winning the Europa. This helps you to retain top players, attract better players and improve yourself from a commercial standpoint.
I'd rather not be owned by a murderous criminal and have to open the gates and usher in the locals to make it look like people went to our cup final. https://talksport.com/football/551179/chelsea-4-1-arsenal-europa-league-turnstiles/ How was Baku, by the way?
It would be interesting to know the logic they used to decide it. I can see why it depends on group match results rather than finishing position as it means each team always has something to play for.
I watched the game and you looked like **** to me. A Half fit Kane who hadn't played in two months, the **** was Poch thinking? Especially when Moura's CL form has been awesome lately.
Both teams were ****ing awful. The break really didn't help it as a spectacle, in my opinion. Picking Kane and Winks was stupid and predictably so, though I think that the latter actually played well until he got subbed off. We always rush Kane back and he always looks **** when we do it.
