So the Sheikh is apparently looking at Jose and Wenger as alternatives To Rafa. Just seen this in twitter too which is good for thought... Would you take Jose?
Wenger's 70 in October and is well past it, and Mourinho is a **** and lost the plot long ago. If they wanna go for a top level manager, why those 2?
No thanks, neither of them would have looked at us twice if it wasn’t for the promise of the so called Big Money coming in. Rafa has worked miracles with the players and restrictions around him and absolutely 100% should have the opportunity of taking this club forwards. Don’t want money hungry players or managers wanting an easy ride.
Once Rafa has left and all this fantasy misdirection by Ashley and his non-existent takeover bid have been revealed as bullsheet, perhaps we should consider getting Chris Hughton back? Andy Carroll on a free transfer etc...

Are Newcastle fans actually putting their nose up to Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger right now? We are the same club that once convinced itself that Steven McClaren was a good choice, right?
Apparently some of them, personally I'd love Jose in charge, we are well set defensively already so his type of team. Wenger as DoF above him looking after the youth team, transfers (withJose) and infrastructure would be amazing. Frankly as long as its a name above McClaren or Kinear I don't understand what people are worried about!!!
If this actually happens and this new owner is as rich as people think he is, we need to start looking at the top level managers. But I would keep it in Rafa's safe hands for a season or two so we can keep the staff and players grounded and performing. Even Man City did that with Mark Hughes of all people.
Jose is a ****ing nutcase and spits his dummy out as soon as things don't go his way, don't like and never really have liked Wenger. I don't think he would come here anyways but I wouldn't want him. I'd happily have Simeone, that's where we need to be looking if Rafa isn't gonna be the Gaffer.
