Used to work down Whitefriargate for a while back in the 70s. Completely forgotten about this place, was very good then and seems it still is.

Interesting revelations in a national paper today about the son of a well-known local ex MP.

Don't expect to read in the local paper unless their hand is forced by media interest elsewhere.

It's sad our local paper doesn't get or won't print these stories, like it's scared of some kind of punitive action.

Why would we want to read articles like that when l can find out what's it like to push a pram around town, or top 10 phrases etc only if you're from Hull.

I must say I do like their Big Night Out pix from the early 90s at some **** nightclub.

    Proper news.

What has he done? Ended poverty? Brought about a cure for cancer?

Love the way they are described as brilliant pictures. Seems everyone on a big night out, as well as a wild night out, spent their time huddled together looking sheepishly at a camera. Not just the HDM, there are similar bits of nonsense in other local papers, some of them not in the same ownership as the group which has the HDM amongst its papers.

Definitely no liver, B&G. Just bacon, sausage, egg, tomatoes, mushroom, beans and toast. The toast is my nod towards my healthier lifestyle, as fried bread is bad for you.

I'm not sure you're taking your condition seriously Kempton, unless of course you tell me the toast is wholemeal...

My mate at work has been diagnosed with a fatty liver. When relating the story to any ladies he describes his condition as having "an enlarged organ". Try it, it may be of some use to you.:emoticon-0105-wink:
