Absolutely...it was an epic turnaround...but unlike Pool who had league matters to return to(we did too but really we didn't have the motivation in our last league game either)we have been basking in reaching heights not known to us. Should have refocused and heads down...we overdosed I feel in the semi final.

We don't know how to win trophies unfortunately... something needs to happen.

Of course not. But it can still tell you lots of things.

I don't think it could have told us that Moura was actually the same kind of Moura we saw in the semi final because he actually was when he came on..for me, we moved up a notch with intent.

You have to look at a man to see that hunger...plus the data suggests he had a barnstormer in the semi.

For me it was odd before and it's odd now...why he didn't start. He was the hungriest out of the lot

I really don't get this. We were much better than Liverpool. I didn't think anyone had a bad match. Mane, Salah and Firmino didn't have a chance between them. We lost mostly because of the bizarre incident in the first 30 seconds.

There’s a reason people are calling this one of the worst champions league finals in recent history.

He also had our two best chances and missed both of them. You pick your best players for big matches and he isn't one of them yet.

Our CL Final performance took me back to Spurs v Man City in a Final where the spurs (and Ricky) didn't play well, then another Spurs team turned up in the replay.

Too hot and neither team match fit?
All our players put in a shift and none did much wrong.

I think our square passing looked very pretty until we reached the 11 red shirted defence, then we didn't know what to do.

That’s very debatable when considering the form of Dele this season. Lucas has been one of our best players this season. Plus it was Lucas who won us the game that took us to the biggest match in our clubs’ history.

    And just terrible football.

Data won't show things like it helps if you've been on the pitch for a bit longer than he was.

Personally I think if he was on from the begining...he would have been well into the dynamics of the game by the time them chances came to him.

It's like when everyone says...that chance came too soon in the game...so we forget about it because said individual has about 85 minutes sort himself out.

Lucas had about 20 minutes to do what the others couldn't in 90

For me there's alot of psychology to be considered

    Give over <laugh>
you only started threatening in the last 15 mins before that our only concern was Son running in behind. We played rubbish but part of that was because we just sat back.Due to the pen we could & did play long and then press your defenders so you had far more of the ball but the majority of that possession was in your own half .

We had four times as many shots on goal than you after the penalty and easily the better chances. We just didn't take them.

err Milner had probably the best chance of the game.
Think we will just have to disagree on this as imo neither team were much better than the other but i will say only the Lucas chance had me worried.

I knew playing Tottenham in the final was not going to be as easy as playing Ajax. Many thanks to our Goalkeeper
Alisson, he was the match winner. Wishing Tottenham luck next time. Well done Spurs<applause><applause><applause>.

Media pressure to play Kane was too much for Poch.
Man of the match D. Rose.

Now looking forward to next season. I suspect there'll be at least two new good imports to the first X1.
If we achieve even half as much as this season (in terms of success), I'll be happy.

Reluctantly agree with this. Think pool had our number from the beginning. Something special from Alli may have swung it but they managed us very well.
