Bristol City and Celtic told asking price for highly-rated midfielder also linked to Derby County and Brighton & Hove Albion A number of clubs are interested in his signature https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/bristol-city-celtic-told-asking-2927118
'It would be great' - What Albert Adomah has said about rejoining Bristol City after 'release' by Aston Villa Could we see him back at Ashton Gate next season? https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport...ws/bristol-city-adomah-villa-released-2926632
As much as I loved Albert for us, he is now wrong side of 30 and would probably stop the emergence of Elliasson who I think will get better and better in time.
Albert still got two/three year in him,he was pivotal in Villas promotion, Better than any wingers we have.
I loved Adomah but he's had his time at AG. I also think he doesn't fit the profile/age of MA/LJ players. Although for the life of me I'll never understand on what profile did City spend £1million on Marley Watkins. Norwich laughed at City, fairly sure it was the only fee any club ever payed for Marley Watkins. I can't see City getting a penny back when his contract ends. Win some, lose some.
Tomas Kalas update There has been considerable chat on Twitter and various fan forums today concerning the future of Tomas Kalas and that the Czech international is edging ever closer to a permanent move to Bristol City. As we understand the various parties remain in talks. Bristol City want to sign him and are willing to make him their highest paid player, the centre-back is interested in a move and a fee with Chelsea is affordable within the club’s transfer budget plus it’s clear he has no future at Stamford Bridge. The issue, if you can call it an issue, is that such is his ability Kalas has interest from beyond BS3 in the Championship. City hold the trump card in the sense they don’t have to sell the club to the 26-year-old - his successful loan spell has done that for him and sources close to the player have said he always spoke glowingly about the club and the city. It’s 6pm on a Friday so it will come as no surprise that we understand nothing will happen this evening but that isn’t to say there could be some kind of update within the next 48 hours.
So has he or has he not signed. Lots of stuff on Facebook/Twitter saying he has signed. Kalas I’m taking about. Adomah is he coming home ,for me better than what we currently have and can score goals as well. Reckon he got 3 years left in him at this level.
If O”Dowda does leave, bringing Albert back would be a good move. He would add the experience to the youngish squad.
I wouldn’t call someone pivotal who started less than half of their games and only completed 90mins 5 times

Bristol City in talks to sign Chelsea defender on a permanent transfer https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/b...ign-chelsea-defender-on-a-permanent-transfer/
and? check out how they fared, AV, early in the season … It is a squad game with some / most teams and managers develop game plans that are fluid … so AA had a good experience at AV he played the equivalent of 23 full games Tammy 38 games as did Hourihane with McGinn 42 games … games he featured in that's time consuming to evaluate ..and not really relevant ………...
Because AA does not as much. So in my opinion in watching Elliasson AA would hinder him. Why can’t you listen to someone else’s opinion?
