Can't say I have been Faurlin's biggest fan but I agree with most of the other posts today. He was great against the Toon yesterday and for once didn't hang around waiting to be told what to do by Derry. He was head and shoulders above Barton too. It was the kind of performance I think he needed as midfield places are going to be squeezed this year. Well done sir.
We are definitely lucky to have such a great player for so long, plus he is young. His stats should definitely improve for fifa 2012.
He seemed to enjoy having Barton alongside Derry behind him, freeing him up to express himself a bit more. Superb performance, MOM in my eyes.
got to be honest, never expected that line up last night. But boy did it work, and seemed to benefit Faurlin. Been a big fan of his, and last night I think we saw more of what he can do.
In my opinion Ali was man of the match and that is saying something considering all the great performances out there. The future is definitely bright and its definitely blue and white!!
