On your performance against us last night. I thought that you guys were superb and in the end we were fortunate to walk away with a point. If your team can continue to play like that on a regular basis then you should have a very good and enjoyable season. Some of our fans are being very critical of our display (with good reason) but nothing should be taken away from your performance. QPR worked really hard and battled well, but also played some good football with AT and SWP looking excellent. Good luck for the rest of the season.
Thanks, Simon. Have to say that your fans were / have been great, giving praise where it's due as well as bemoaning the form of some of your players. Certainly that's a refreshing attitude from most other fans, who will only say that teams they play are either 'lucky' or focus on their own shortcomings. Cheers again Willy
QPR were superb, when SWP almost scored near the end I wouldnt have begrudged him the winner. Newcastle, not for the first time this season didnt really turn up but still managed to get something out of the game. I think we have become a difficult team to beat. End of the day from my viewpoint an away point is always welcome and I'll see it as a gritty, hard fought result All the best for the season guys.
