They do it every year, and I think it's right. I believe only subscribers get the benefit of HD. BT Sport is expensive although I must say this year, particularly after the amazing semi's, I've got my money's worth. I watch some rugby too, in addition to the Prem matches
Not really what I meant Col, I knew that football fans wouldn’t begrudge other football fans the chance to see the game. It was more the commercial relationship with BT I was interested in, but now I suspect that’s not really an issue as you get loads of stuff through your subscription beyond these two games. I’m looking forward to tonight, though it’s a shame it’s so hot, as both teams are usually very energetic. My brother, who has lived in and around Madrid for over 25 years and is an Atlético fan, has only one wish ‘that my English brothers don’t **** up our lovely new stadium’. He’s not going into town this weekend.
Incredibly short sighted not to have large screens in the fan zones to show the game.....mind I suppose the bars will be happy to have the customers.....just hope they all behave themselves...
Here's this season's calendar, 6.00 Saturday night repeated on Sunday Morning... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_Speedway_Grand_Prix
Head says Liverpool. I just have a niggling feeling that Spurs may have their name on the trophy. Won't mind either way, although something may happen during the game that gets me to support one or the other.
Nothing to dislike about the squads, coaches and style of either team. As I may have mentioned before I don’t like Spurs. Though I’d prefer them if they were playing Chelsea. I just want Klopp to win something, I think he has brought a lot to the English game. I might be saying the same about Pochettino in a couple of years. If he leaves Spurs.
I like Klopp a lot, but the whole thing about Liverpool being somehow 'special' grates on me. I watched a thing last night called 'When English Football Ruled Europe'. It started with Liverpool in '77 and '78, followed by Clough's Forest. I enjoyed the Clough bit so much that I recorded the thing on Plus 1 so that my son could watch it (Clough has become a bit of a hero to him after watching The Damned United). Clough's achievement in winning the thing twice with Forest is the greatest by any manager if you ask me.
Absolutely agree. Though if Dave Sexton had won the league with us.......Liverpool aren’t special at all. But Klopp is, in a way.
Van Dyck delivers the first leg. Only been a couple of times, but the Derby is by far my favourite horse race, an authentic London day out.
Kane starts for Spurs, hat trick hero Moura on the bench. you know what we meant, it’s the fans going in about heritage, birthright, against the odds and all that bollocks. History means nothing. Plus, as an AC Milan tifoso one of those wins was a free gift. As Pirlo said on reflection after Istanbul ‘the only thing to say is - for ****’s sake’.
