Looks as though the two main parties are toast. :emoticon-0100-smile
Looking at the figures no one party could form a government without a coalition.

Unfortunately you can't interpret much by these figures apart from that the Lib Dem support is rising Frenchie. Opinion polls don't measure turnout, nor do they measure how these translate into seats. The good thing is that the Tories have run out of possible coalition partners, whereas Labour have a range of possibilities - but could Corbyn lead a coalition government ?

I don't think Corbyn could lead a dog never mind a coalition. For a serial rebel against his own party in government and opposition to throw out members because they rebel once smacks of the highest form of hypocrisy.

Ideology over pragmatism.. In a way I respect him for it compared with Blair and Co. But not really a pm in waiting... The media and the masses are very wary of him

Why do I look on the BBC site this morning and see the headline that Trump thinks Bojo would be an excellent leader ? Why is it, apparently, ok. for a leader of the USA to express opinions on internal British politics whereas the EU. keeps out of them ? In fact why is this creep here at all at our expense ?

He is the leader of the main country in the free world, an important ally. You should be directing your venom against the murderous communist heads of regimes of Russia and China who visited the UK without the mass whinging.

It is quite obvious why he wants Brexit to happen and that is because he wants the UK as a dumping ground for everything which the EU. does not want due to environmental and safety regulations. A kind of one way TTIP - with the accent on Tip. He has no right to be coming here expressing opinions about British politics, and the B.B.C. is out of order giving priority to his opinions. By the way - the EU. is the biggest political unit in what you call the 'free' World, not the USA. I do not recall that the leaders of China have expressed 'opinions' about British politics on their visits here - and when was Putin last here on a state visit ? Maybe you can enlighten me on the last one.

Oh SH would to like to join me in the free Tibet movement supporting many thousands of tibetan people oppressed, tortured and dispossessed by the Chinese state and expansionism??
OK for you to mouth some words, words are cheap, but will you stand up then and do something to help any of those oppressed peoples in the world?? UK government of whatever party does nothing.. They want the trade... Ironic eh....

Incidentally the CIA financed and armed tibetan fighters for a year or so and then left them to be overran by the Chinese. More than a million tibetan have been killed and currently there are around 100,000 political prisoners in Chinese gulags...
The only country to stand up against this in the west were The Czech Republic under Havel and china stopped all trade as a result.. Shocking and terrible situation... And the so called free world does nothing.. All they want is trade... USA is no better than anyone... M

The Brexit Party now looks set to win their first seat in Peterborough, the seat where the disgraced Labour MP, Fiona Onasanya, was recently removed from.

This comment highlights the thoroughly disgusting reception by so called UK liberals to a US President compared to their muted response to the state visits by Chinese communist leaders, totally irrational.

You do realise that any state visit is done purely to try and drum up a bit of additional trade. Instead of complaining about people expressing their feelings maybe you should show a bit of sympathy for the Queen who has to put with meeting people foisted on her by the government of the day.

Where is the disgusting response? We are debating here and expressing our views.. A democratic right enshrined in law.
The fact that you do not agree does not make the views of others disgusting...

Part of Trump's visit was to respect the fallen, especially the 75th anniversary. I have no problems with you expressing negative feelings, you are well versed at that. Political leaders refusing to meet him is petty and counterproductive for the UKs national interest.

Many world leaders are frightened of meeting the dalai lama the rightful leader of tibet for fear of upsetting the Chinese government.. Happens all the time, sadly

Not too surprising as the anti Brexit vote was quite well organised with people being shown how support for the LibDems and Greens could win seats.

They are a bunch of nonentities who will be forgotten after they disappear at the next general election.

They were used as a protest vote option similar to the LibDems and Greens.
