You try and call the game and go through the team and tactics but anything can happen, it's brilliant and horrible all at once. Once I've had a few beers on the day I'll chill a bit and start to enjoy it. At the moment I'm a bit on edge and snappy with people.
He is practising his RCLing in readiness for KO. However RIP on our board is for real with his pessimism .
I hope your right but your the 2nd person I've seen thinking this way, you have to dream. No point otherwise, might as well become a rugby fan.
Think I’m more excited than nervous. New experience and all that. Still hasn’t even properly sunk in that we’re in the Champions League final. Crazy. As Luvvy has said, it’s too difficult to predict tactics/ teams/ outcome. Three week break means there’s zero form to judge on. One off game. Saw a tweet from Graham Roberts (think it was him), basically said these players and staff are already heroes but on Saturday they can become legends. Couldn’t agree more, here’s hoping by the final whistle we can indeed call them legends
Then I truly hope we give you some. Until the game just think about Mane and Robertson double teaming Trippier.
In 2004 my beloved spurs were 3 nil up v a very **** man city team. At ht the ref sent one of their players off so we were 3 up against a **** 10 man team. In the 90th minute city scored their winner! In 2006 my beloved spurs needed to beat West ham to come 4th...they all got dysentery from a dodgy lasagne and the gooners got 4th at our expense. 1n 2012 my beloved spurs blew a 10 point lead on the goons, Chelsea won the CL and we lost out on CL qualification. In 2016, on the last day of the season, we needed a draw at already relegated Newcastle to finish second above Arsenal...my beloved spurs lost 5-1. My beloved spurs failed to win a single NLD in the league between 1999 and 2010. You mofos are just irritating....spurs are the only soul crushing night terrors in my life
Obviously a heavy dose of anti-jinxing there If you're serious, that's a mad attitude. It's a ****ing cup final. Anything can happen.
I’ve deliberately avoided thinking about the actual game too much, tbh it still hasn’t really sunk in that tomorrow is actually happening. I don’t think it will until we walk down from Seven Sisters tomorrow afternoon. Then this morning I woke up, convinced myself we’re going to win. Then by my lunch break I’d talked myself down, so I’m at the disappointment stage again. And we haven’t even played the bloody game! I have no idea what to think about tomorrow and to be honest, I’m just going to start on the beers tonight and see what happens.
I'm starting out on the ale and hash tonight and not stopping until the early hours of Sunday morning
