Telephone scrum to get a seat Deep joy! If I can’t get a seat where I can stand then I’m afraid I’m out
If they had half a brain, they'd now scrap the North Stand move, as its only purpose was to dissuade people from voting A and it failed. Sadly they haven't got half a brain.
I'm glad we have concessions back, but a bit peeved to have to move again. It'll be my forth seat in 7 seasons. E1, E3, N5 and probably somewhere in the East.
Well concessions are what people on here and on Twitter have been banging on about for ages so I expect the stadium to be much fuller next season. How many times have I read "I'm not coming back until they bring back concessions". Many of us without children will be paying more so please do not let us down and find another excuse not to return. Saying that I do agree with not moving from North Stand as I just don't see the point in that but how many will now use that as their excuse.
Even though my monthly price has gone up, I am still going to keep my pass. It's also the correct decision to bring back concessions !
HCST Statement - Ticket Model Poll Results Hull City Supporters Trust would like to thank everyone who voted in the ticket model poll, especially the 58.1% who voted in favour of the concessionary ticket model. Whilst we welcome the limited return of concessions, we call on the Club to restore Disabled Concessions and justify why it’s necessary to relocate North Stand supporters. In addition, if this is, “based on the pricing structure used in the 2010/11 season” why are seniors prices now from age 65 and not 60 as previously? We still believe all supporters who have attended matches in the recent past and are registered, as per previous ballots, should have had a vote and we call on the Club to explain why. Finally, the Clubs refusal to engage in dialogue even with their own Supporters Committee on the ballot is an unacceptable practice and would have surely assisted engagement in the ballot and not relied upon individual supporters and ourselves as a Trust to provide support.
This is great news on the face of it. Concessions with kids under 10 costing £3 a month in some parts of the ground. I'm tempted to go back. My lad enjoys it when we go and at that price we can take it or leave certain games. Just the owners to sort out now!
so unless you can manage to get in to the corners it actually costs more to bring a child than it did last season? £42 for a adult and a child last season now between £46.50 - £55.50? makes a lot of sense.
Right, I don't post often, and don't like the Allam's either, Everybody keeps moaning about the North stand and moving and saying they threw the north stand changing to away supporters in some way sway / rig / distort the vote in favour of A however to me its perfectly clear its a simple case of the Allams's saying right, Option A is our best version of what we think we can offer, or you can vote for B and just remove all traces of any changes we have made and go back to how it was. Surely its as simple as that? Maybe my innocent mind but I simply don't see any agenda here from them at all! Simply, fair enough, if you don't like our model we go back to what people were happy with before we bought the club.
Definitely a step in the right direction at last and especially the return of concessions to youngsters. I can't find any proposed changes for those who were originally members of the 500 club and who became classed as corporate members (big deal!) though - has anyone heard anything about their future arrangements?
I'm a bit surprised that as little as 58% voted for option B, but nevertheless, it's good news concessions as back, particularly for the younger age group. As OLM said, if they had any sense they would rescind the North stand condition, but we know they don't have any common sense.
I’m pleased for you Genuinely I know that there’s a fair few older people with reasonable disposable income, but give it a few years and the pensioners coming through who’ve been shafted with their pensions (state and private) will start to get concessions and they’ll need it I think
Yes I would say that's your innocent/naive mind. Look at everything the Allams have done and judge them on that as a whole . They lost the benefit of the doubt a long time ago for most fans. Also , they haven't even brought back concessions for disabled people and those between 60 and 64
I think it's great for youngsters even though I will now pay more. I hope for the one's in the North stand they let them stay there although I would welcome any that want to return back to the East, it gets pretty lonely in there now. Some lose out some gain just hope we see more younger ones at the games now. Still think it will be hard to attract extra fans until the Allams have gone but it would be nice to see a few kids coming along with mam/dad or both.
I'm always perplexed when people seem to think people need an excuse to not go. Why would anyone need an excuse? If you asked me personally, what's my excuse for not going, I'd say because the Allams are still here. That's not an excuse, that's a very good reason. Others, including myself, might reply, because I don't want to. What's the problem with that? The only thing you could reasonably reply with is 'Oh....Oh right'. No excuses are even faintly required.
