If you're relying on him changing his mind from a vote 40 odd years ago I think you're clutching at straws there <laugh><laugh><laugh>.

I'm with you though. He's been total ****e throughout Brexit. I just don't think that particular criticism was a fair one, but there are plenty of others.

Rob I am not relying on anything, I think the man is a complete ****, always has been, he has history on Europe, history with terrorists and opponents of our country, history with our defence forces and systems, he will expel a member of his party because he chose to vote a different way but just suspend a anti semite member.

He can't be trusted, he changes his mind as proved, he is a fence sitter or indecisive, he bribes the young with promises of tuition fees being abandoned and now he is going to change direction once again over the Brexit vote.

You laugh when I demonstrate the large amount of information available about Remainer liars, you laugh at the proven history of what a snake Corbyn has always been,

Mate you are entitled to your thoughts and feelings, I don't agree but it keeps me young.

I thought Corbyn was a leaver not a remainer.

I could be wrong as well, but wasn’t that photo of him with Jerry Adams was taken during the peace deal that he was part of.

Would not vote for him, and I’ve been staunch labour throughout. Wife’s Conservative, so we’ve always bantered on it.

Was going to vote the Green Party but that would be hypocritical of me when I say concrete everything :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Corbyn's 30 years of talking to terrorists: How Labour leader has taken tea with IRA bombers and welcomed agents of the Hamas terror group as 'friends'
    • Corbyn and McDonnell were IRA's most vigorous allies in Westminster in 1980s
    • In 1987, Corbyn took part in a minute's silence to commemorate eight IRA men
    • Diane Abbott endorsed the IRA in an interview with a pro-Republican journal

its not shouting it is a headline statement ………..
how many people are on £1000k or more cant be weekly or monthly as nobody in the world would entertain that ie you pay back £1000 a week and only earn £500 …..
based on the £500 a week [ 26k per annum ] that's £260k earned and mortgage is still £52k.. [probably a portacabin or caravan?]
argument incorrect, a missing element present
touted by whom ..certainly never heard that argument when I sold finance pensions and mortgages
    have a rethink ……………...

yes but concrete is a fundamental part of being green … go to any garden centre and it proves it …..
concrete foundations concrete path's so you can push your plant laden trolly easily rather trying to drag it through gravel and most of all concrete plant pots and ornaments when they are done you just smash them up and use them as hardcore or something

Not just shouty, colouring in now as well.
No need for a rethink I'm fine as it is.
The sums are indicative, the principle remains.
I was involved in the mortgage business for some time also. Managed the set up of the UK mortgage business for an international lender and implemented all the IT systems for another major UK lender when they entered the market. Spent quite a bit of time with the directors of both organisations.
There, that's the posturing out of the way.

Ok, you've never heard of it so it doesn't exist. Very open minded of you.

Here you go, easy to type inflation (driven by high interest rates) and debt into Google. Here's the first one that came up.

    https://www.economicshelp.org/blog/3188/inflation/personal-debt-and-inflation/

I assume from the tense used in your sentence around mortgage selling that you no longer do.
    Probably for the best.:emoticon-0105-wink:

Nope left that job a few years ago, earned a lot of money doing so.. bought a house and 3 acres with a stable, at one point had 9 horses but only one on the 3 acres the other 8 were on rented pasture 14 acres .. note you didn't address the argument in red …
colour is a wonderful thing to differentiate between items and save time having to supply a reply to an item when answering it by having to re write or cut and paste …. most … no I fib … about 20% of my income nowadays is playing the stock market, bonds and property ……:emoticon-0100-smile:emoticon-0100-smile:emoticon-0100-smile:emoticon-0100-smile

Bully for you. You've done well.
Did you sell yourself a mortgage to buy it?
Is this a pissing contest? I won't enter into it so as not to embarrass you.

What was the bit in red? Couldn't quite fathom the structure of the sentence. I'm assuming it was "who says so".
There are well documented models regarding debt, inflation, interest rates, etc, especially with regard house prices. Can't reference it all.
The people I worry about are those that have stretched themselves in times of low interest rates not knowing how they will deal with any increase in interest rates (which will surely come). It will be far more severe than the late 80s and early 90s when significant numbers of people found themselves in negative equity. At the time, average house prices were channelling between 2 and a half and 4 times average earnings, which they had for 50 and more years. That ratio has been blown out of the water in this time of sustained low interest rates and debt that isn't being eroded. Let the good times roll.
Low interest rates have fuelled house price inflation contrary to other types of inflation.
Fortunately, not a scenario that will affect me for which I am very grateful.

Ah well, time to catch up on some sleep. Was in Scotland fishing for a couple days fishing earlier in the week and have sheep to shear tomorrow. Most of them already done, only 20 or so to go. Also have some calves to turn out from the shed into our fields. Looking after my daughter's horses as well as she's away for a couple days. Glad I'm in semi retirement from my real job or I'd never have time for these hobbies. The tractor helps with the chores though.

The trusty old Daily Mail. Didn't they also claim he was a Czech spy? Still, repeat something enough times maybe it'll become true.

To be fair I think most people in here (myself included) agree with you re Corbyn.

I respect you for that honest reply and whilst I am an ardent and total supporter of leave, I would not want our nation to go on a suicide mission of nationalism and would like an exit of sense, respect and fairplay to both sides.

I have a lot of time for Hillary Benn & Keir Stamour just to demonstrate I am not entirely blinkered. <ok>

Top man! Yeah that's why I was trying to explain about Corbyn that I'm not a supporter but I try to argue against criticism that I might think is a little unfair whoever it is. To be fair all of the 'top' politicians at the moment... it's like trying to pick which is the least ****. I know we always say that politicians are crap but this current crop seem particularly so on all sides!

    Really interesting poll this:

It's from YouGov/Times, I'd be a bit sceptical of this poll given how mad it looks but YouGov in general are definitely one of the better polling companies.

If in any way true, it just shows people are rejecting Labour/Tories in numbers to either back Brexit Party or Lib Dems. And between them it's neck and neck.

Just out of interest (no pun intended) what haven’t you done work wise?
I’ve noticed that what ever someone says you’ve either dabbled, or done or in cahoots with someone who does it?

Not a dig, just genuinely interested
