    Replaced as captain

Surrounded by players now earning more than him

No longer the dog with the biggest dick and centre of attention

    So how did he react?

I thought he was very good and surprised me, its was his best performance of the season so far, his general response was virging on mature...

I didn't think i would be saying that.

He overplayed it a bit sometimes but at other points looked liked a quality PREMIERSHIP player. I think his fitness is nearly there and can see him limking up well with SWP's pace.

Overall we were unlucky last night, we will produce far less chances and win games, roll on Wolverhampton, can't wait to see how we set ourselves up away from home.

Agree... Tarbs looked better with a couple of good players around him. SWP might take a bit of the opponents attention now, leaving young Adel with time and space to shine.

Played well, especially in the first half. Showed some fight, which was really good to see.

The fact that Adel looked like he was standing in a shower the whole game, with the amount of sweat coming off him says it all. When have you ever seen Adel sweating before? Also lets not forget that he booked himself in to a fitness center last week following comments that he wasn't fit enough. He seems to be taking it all on board and thankfully is rising to the challenge. Also noticeable were the comments from Barton, I think Warnock has obviously sold Adel to him and will also take up the challenge of bringing the best out of Adel. Positive all round.

Adel played like a big weight had been taken off his shoulders.
Was it me or did he seem more relaxed and at ease

I think Adel's beginning to realise that Mohammed doesn't need to go to the mountain. The mountain has come to Mohammed

What a player and what a great attitude he showed yesterday! He'll storm the Prem this year which i've said from the beginning.

He put in a shift last night and appears to have shifted the weight he was carrying earlier in the season,he now has players arround him with experience and this allows him the freedom to express himself,it just needs one of his 25yarders to go in and we will be rocking

Highly doubt it if more players of the calibre we're attracting arrive. Here he'll play in the Premiership and by the looks of it could be moving on leaps and bounds.

Providing we stay up of course.

Also I agree that Tarbs put in a "mature" performance. There were times yesterday when I was sure he was going to pull the trigger a la last season but chose the better option in playing it wide or even holding it up and waiting for support.

HE EVEN WON A ****ING HEADER!!!!
