Personally (and feel free to object) i feel he our best winger atm by a long shot, his work rate is outstanding, he can make an average defender look good and will never strop running alll day, can skip past a defender and would be 1 of the 1st names on the sheet if i were pardew! fair do's hes not messi but will run his socks off for the toon and he may of not played his best tonight but whenever he doesnt play (stevenage springs to mind) we misss his constant running at denfenders and tracking back more then we know! feel free to disagree but this my honest opinion and i think we will only relise what he is when hes gone! Anyways was just wondering your take on him, personally i love him :)

Arguably he isn't our best winger but I'd say he's our most hard-working player.

We just need to release him and Obertan away by dropping an attacking midfielder into the hole. Plus he is having to be mindful of Taylor who is finding it tough against some good players in an unnatural position. Natural left backs can have tough times against the likes of Gervinho, SWP. Jonas is sometimes wasteful in the final third but has a great team ethic. I just think all the midfield players would benefit from a player who moves up front and drops to link play. Put Santon left and get Shola out and we are a different team attacking wise. Players like Jonas receive the ball in better areas and you find their end product improves.

the sheer amount of ground the guy covers is staggering. i struggle to think of someone with a better engine than him in the PL to be honest.
