The General Football Thread

Tonight is more about who I dislike the least. Its a tough call.
Maybe a coin toss. Okay, I don't give a toss, just give us a good game.
Were I betting, I'd go 2-0 Chelsea though.

 

Arsenal for me as they were my team before I saw the mighty Saints in their red and white stripes....that went well for me, didn't it?

DLTW & Fran are making me lean to the red side tonight.
But nobody quote me on that!

 

I'm thinking Arsenal.

No real reason, I don't dislike Chelsea, just for some reason I think it would be great if the two North London clubs won the two European Trophies

Yes I’m leaning to Arsenal, mainly so we get another English club in the CL. Would be nice for Petr Cech to go out on a high as well.

And looking at the empty seats reinforces what a monumentally stupid policy it is to allocate the final venue in advance of knowing who’s in the final.

This looks more like one of those pre-season tournament games rather than a big European final

When they talk up a routine save as being a key moment in the half, you know the game is carp.
Early night for me ahead of an early start tomorrow.
Hopefully Saturday’s final will be worth watching.
