For a club that has had more than it’s fair share of sh1te loans since Pardew, we can only say a big “well done” to Steve Gallen and Bowyer for finding these 3 gems this season <applause>

You could see from Day 1 that Bielik will go on to have a good career if he stays clear of injury - he and Josh Cullen were a cut above just about anything in League One.

Ben Purrington brought much needed composure and stability to the defence, and has said that he would be keen to make his move from Rotherham permanent. We should make signing him a priority.

I’m hoping that at least two of these three quality players might still be in the Beautiful Valiants shirt next season, although I am guessing Bielik is the least likely.

    Well done lads <applause>

Hopefully we can get all of them back next season, and sign Johnny Williams permanently although he hasn't scored or assisted with us he is a very good player

Arsenal will take him back next week, but we will now have to wait and see if he could be part of Emery’s plans for next season, or even if Bielik himself decides that he would rather return to Charlton next season.

In fact after yesterday’s Final he hinted that he would be staying at the Valley when he said that he was really looking forward to next season, although before the game he seemed to have no idea of what the future holds. “I really like the [Charlton] training ground, the players and staff – everything is great here,” Bielik said. “But I can’t really tell you what is going to happen next season. I don’t know. There is the Euros (u21 European Championship 2019) in front of me. I’m just trying to focus on football now – the final and the Euros.

Cullen was class. He is easily Championship level. Aribo next that's our midfield gone.

Another mainstay goes on a freebie. We couldn't compete with L1 wages we have no chance competing with Championship clubs. It's usually relegated clubs who have to worry about losing their best players, not promoted ones.

Players start to leave, then Bowyer comes back from holiday to tell us he's moving on.

The silence has been deafening since Sunday. One explanation for that - the scrote really is selling.

Possibly, but until it happens best to assume the Belgian will still own Charlton next season.
