I like opera though not sure if its your thing. Architecture is worth seeing though.

 

Like Hitler I have toyed with Vienna. As you say architecture is good and German/Austrian beer is excellent.

Copenhagen is expensive.... I'd not say it's all that for historical.
Bruges is a good shout though.

 

I went to Copenhagen with a gang of mates in the 80's and it was expensive. Lovely place, but virtually completely rebuilt after we bombarded it during the Napoleonic war
