    I think Sunderland might be the first place to avoid what with the news Newcastle are being bought by an oil rich Arab today I'd imagine the mood along with the scenery are somewhat grim .

    Possibly not, but until I've been to all those places I can't comment.

    I spent the most part of my life living three junctions down the M62 from Rochdale but I've never actually been there, fortunately.

    I have been to Oldham, Dewsbury and Batley though and can confirm they are also ****.

    Did some work there few years back, was dreadful. The town centre is a horrible ghost town full of either fat as **** or thin & gaunt tramps.

    Which reminds me, Bolton is more or less dead now, someone should just bomb it.
