Sgt you have just made me a very happy man with that info<party>
The reason is that i'm on nights and i get to see the match before i start work with a football hating boss.
So a question for one and all
as this is our first live Euro match EVER, do i
    1) be a good boy and drink tea as i watch the match due to working later, or.
    2) crack open a can or two and sod it.

Have the best of both worlds and have both

One thing I don't know what to do is when to have my dinner. I get back from work about 20 past 5, so should I whip in a Pizza or have something proper at Full time?

Sgt, have a mini pizza before and a curry or chinky to celebrate our win afterwards

Great result tonight. I have to say that I was very concerned when I saw the team sheet and more so when I saw the formation, but yet again TP's decisions have proved to be the right ones. To come so close to pulling off an incredible result is so frustrating, but no complaints - how can there be?

Great point. Disappointing to not hold on but would've taken a point before the game.

Great result in the end because Kiev missed two very easy chances to score. We defended sternly on the whole but perhaps were a bit careless in the last few minutes. Always easy for us fans) to say but we weren't out there on the pitch. Performances: Palacious - rather quiet I thought but did what he had to and showed a few good touches, especially in the first half. Wilko - good marauding first half. Jones - covered a fair bit of ground up front and put himself about, pity he wasn't able to put us 2-0 up when he broke through. Jerome - I thought he did well and he took his goal clinically.

I'm not sure about the effect of substitutions in some instances. Bringing on fresh legs for the last few minutes is one option, but in our case tonight did it cause a little disruption, I don't know. Overall a good result but tinged with disappointment that we conceded so late on.
