Now, I don't know if it was intended as some sort of "inside joke" at first, and then got out of hand, but Leeds United have properly crossed the line on this one.

You can't mess around with peoples lives, toying with them when they're young and impressionable, its just not on.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, then let me spell it out for you:

It's not funny to develop Bradley Johnson into a quality midfield player but deliberately not teach him how to shoot.

I'm sure at the training ground it was hilarious, sending old Bradders to the shops to buy the Tartan paint while the rest of the team had shooting practise; well now its our problem, and I hope you're pleased with yourselves!

    You should be ashamed.

If you wanted attention by using a provocative headline, you got it. For a moment, I thought this was a serious article. Good job I read the rest. Now try & understand this, or go back to the Alex or Fat Cat for a less informed discussion: You do not employ Bradders to shoot & score goals. You employ him to run around, tackle, & get stuck in.

ow dear you've noticed <laugh> gets one on target every season.Unfortunately that's the one they always show on TV,if only you were allowed to move the goals 10 yards to the left ay.
    great post made me laugh.<ok>

Haha glad some of you enjoyed it!

To be fair, other than his wayward shooting, he's probably been our best midfielder so far. He's like a Staffordshire dog, never say die attitude and likes a big challenge. It's refreshing because on the whole, other than Grant Holt, we have quite a soft team.

hard worker Bradley, but he sometimes defies the laws of average when it comes to shots on target.

Bit of an overreaction to what was obviously intended to be a lighthearted tongue in cheek thread.
For the record I'm glad we got rid-he used to annoy the hell out of me & can't believe an otherwise competent manager like Lambert signed the useless twat.

LiE, a tad harsh I think. Bradders put in a fair shift for us. He got stuck in & gave of his best. When in that rare occasion he hits the target, the shot does stay hit & net repairers were permanently on standby in case he did break the back of the netting. Unfortunately, so were the people who replace seats in the upper tier when they get damaged!!!

Haha I'm surprised at your reaction LIE, admittedly he is frustrating at times but so far he's done good. Perhaps the novelty will wear off and it'll start to get on my tits a bit more?! All opinions at the end of the day!

Don't worry about Bradley, one of his shots will go in eventually and it will be amazing!

The one he did at the weekend against West Brom wasn't too far away.

one of the better trolling attempts I've seen on here. Actually put a smile on my face, bravo.

He also had to get spirit level bubbles while he was out.

Also, about that Arsenal goal - his warm up attempt was the saturday before that against scunthorpe - he scored a similar (albeit less sensational) goal.

<ok> It amused me at least. :D

Watch out for his passing as well going astray. Then causing an immediate opposition breakaway which results in them scoring. About ten times over the course of the season. Then you'll know why he got on our tits!

He's very good in the air though; he'll score you quite a few from corners and freekicks if you stick him on the back post. Scored seven in the first twelve games or something ridiculous in League One 09-10.

He's good in the air, but that has never been one of the things I've looked for in a midfield player. Clayton does everything else a bit better (especially passing) so I'm not missing any sleep over him but I hope he does well.

Very funny,,, but he was always getting the left handed screwdrivers & bubbles for the spirit levels...

Remember he will score one belter, he just leaves you buying a "long weight" each week.
