In the Hofbrauhaus in Leeds in the late 1960s a Luncheon Voucher got you admission to the lunchtime striptease shown and a carton of chips. Pints were extra. So I am told.
The last strip show I went to was many years ago in the Trinity Club, an idiot from the audience got on stage then stripped totally off and 'danced' with the 'lady'. The compere returned to the stage and said "she's the dynamite, you're the two inch fuse, now **** off!" The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I knew a lad who frequented Trinity Club and apparently the erm 'Showgirls' there did a lot more than just strip and dance. Men actually got up on the stage and had their merry way, in front of everyone. Me? I played snooker there once. Even the snooker tables were filthy. I passed on the complimentary sausage sarnie
A bunch of use used to go in Hofbrauhaus before City matches. A topless dancer from Liverpool called Crystal used to come and sit with us after her act. Don’t know why. Accompanied by an enormous minder, For some reason she used to chat to Action Group founder Dave Dewberry in particular. Probably attracted by his Hull wit when he asked her if her dad had some garages, One lad asked him what he would do if she offered him the chance of a bunk up.He thought seriously for a couple of minutes and replied he would meet us at half time. She was fit. I’d have missed the whole match if the opposition wasn’t that good.
I'll be one of those 'City faces' you know and recognise but probably have never spoken to, and vice versa. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Very likely. Sad to think of how many are no longer with us.Nodded in passing to someone entering Wembley in 2008 who hadn’t seen since the mid 80s stood in The Well. Neither of us know each others names but in those days there were so few you just knew each other. A connection to the club through all its troubles that seems to have been driven out in our best ever period. Tragic.
So today is when we find out the vote results Possibly At least today is when we’re supposed to find out. Wonder what marvels of adding up and filtering have gone on since the vote closed?! I predict that whatever the result many people won’t be happy, although that’s because both options had a ****ty end to the implementation stick
You're right not to be happy, it's a ****ty stick with **** on both ends. Either way it's going to be a mess.
I expect a few brave staff members will be losing their jobs when the results is known Then Ehab will alter summat about the concession option As you were
Bearing in mind that if you cancel today you have to pay for June and July but if you do it tomorrow you have to pay for August as well, will the result be announced as late as possible to give people less time to make a decision? I don’t know what to hope for. On one hand concessions are good. On the other myself and my two concession age nephews would see our prices go down by £108 a year under option A and increase by £144 per year under option B. Unless we move to a crap seat in the corner then it will be £36 less than last season and £72 more than option A.
What irritates me is the Allams know they're being ****s, but think they're too clever for us plebs to realise. When in reality everyone can see what they're doing with this ****, bent vote.
I'm surprised more hasn't been said on here about the fact non-members aren't given the right to vote. These are the fans that have walked away and supposedly the fans the Allams would like to entice back, now the money is gone. I can only think that the Allams, simply don't care what the future holds for the club and therefore that part of their business. Kind of shrug their shoulders and say "I'm alright Jack".
On dull daily site it says "concessions vote revealed" and of course it's not there yet. Dull daily you run a **** paper and whoever writes your headlines is a ****!!
